We've learned how to get input from the user, perform calculations, check values with a conditional, and print out the results. Today, the students will use all those skills to complete a single assignment: Bank Account. The program will ask the user which type of account they have and how much money is in it, and then based on those answers, will tell them how much interest they've earned so far. Of course, each type of account has a different interest rate based on the account balance... so a bit complicated.
This is the last practice before our assessment next class. We talked about choosing the score they want and then practicing a program that meets the requirements so they can recreate it next class. I think they could all get a "4" pretty easily, but then again, I'm not 13 with fresh snow! :)
